It’s like heading to a different planet each time.

A planet that is so familiar yet so transformed into something unknown. It’s delightful, amazing, and at times shocking.

But mostly, it is just pure happiness to bring lots of great memories back and to see ones I went through these times with. It is an opportunity to talk and laugh with the soulmates of mine.

It is the world of my childhood, yet I have no idea how to be an adult in those surroundings.

I sometimes get lost between cultural understandings, diverse events, and family relationships. Yet all of this brings my life back to the point where I am completely confident that I am never ever alone.

Thank you, Kazakhstan, for empowering me once again.

I absolutely understand why worship of the sky has been present in Kazakhstan.
Endless tea ceremonies.

Meet kurt, a yummy snack.
